Key Responsibilities- Quality Control: Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Concrete Placement: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Compaction: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets our density requirements.
- Finishing: Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications, and impart the desired finish using hand and power tools.
- Curing: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure they meet our durability standards.
- Restoration: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
