Key Responsibilities- Maintain Accurate Records
Ensure that all financial and production records are up-to-date and accurately maintained. This includes tracking crop yields, inventory levels, and labor hours.
Provide Agricultural ServicesProvide a range of agricultural services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting. This will involve operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
Supervise and CoordinateSupervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-SecurityEnsure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain Quality ControlEnsure that all crops are of the highest quality, by maintaining quality control and production records.
Supervise Crop-Related OperationsSupervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, including planting, harvesting, and storage.
Maintain Work Records and LogsMaintain accurate work records and logs, including hours worked, tasks completed, and any issues or concerns.
Hire and Train StaffRecruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
About You- Leadership Experience
You will have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an agricultural or farming environment.
Excellent Communication SkillsYou will have excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and other stakeholders.
Organizational SkillsYou will be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Team PlayerYou will be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
Work EnvironmentYou will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
Physical DemandsYou will be physically fit, with the ability to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment.
