As a Health Care Aide with Shepherd's Care Foundation, you will play a vital role in providing supportive care to residents in our long-term care facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with mobility and transfer in a safe and caring manner
- Provide emotional support and advocacy to residents and their families
- Collaborate with the clinical care team to ensure high-quality resident-focused care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Effective reading, writing, and speaking skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
