Key Responsibilities- Feed and Load Equipment: Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines with wood products, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Sort and Transport Wood Products: Sort, pile, and transport wood products to designated areas, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Remove Scrap and Clean Equipment: Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing, and clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Support for Diverse Workforce: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous workers.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced sawmill environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
