About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at the Great Canadian Dollar Store. As a key holder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, provide advice on merchandise, and assist with purchases.
  • Store Operations: Perform opening and closing activities, operate the cash register, and maintain daily log books.
  • Merchandise Management: Assist with displaying merchandise, restocking shelves, and maintaining store displays.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, dependability, collaborative, hardworking, integrity, and a positive attitude.
