About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Services Associate to join our team at Jyllikleen Cleaning Services. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to a high standard.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Will train on the job to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
