Job Title: Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Jyllikleen Cleaning Services.

Job Summary:

The Cleaning Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain hygiene standards
Requirements:
  • Will train on the job
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition
  • Support for youths, including on-the-job training tailored to youth
  • Support for visible minorities, including hiring policies that discourage discrimination and mentorship programs
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent employment
  • English language required
  • 30 hours per week
