Math and Science Tutor Wanted

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time teacher-tutor to join our team in our Learning Centre. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping students build their skills in math and science.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field is preferred
  • Experience: Experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 8 to 12 (or equivalent) level
  • Skills: Strong English written and oral communication skills, strong math skills, and ability to guide students' understanding

Responsibilities

  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Job Details

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Salary: $20 / hour
  • Schedule: Evenings (3pm - 8pm), Monday - Friday, Saturday availability
