We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at VT Controls Ltd.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and other software. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
