Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a pipelayer or in a similar role
  • Expertise in the installation of valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts
  • Skilled in laying concrete pipe, PVC pipe, manholes, and catch basins
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Compensation based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, pension plan, RRSP matching, and vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Installation of water infrastructure elements
  • Collaboration with team members and supervisors
  • Ensuring accurate pipe placement through cutting and beveling techniques
  • Utilizing surveying instruments for precise pipe installation

Experience and Credentials:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sewer and water projects
  • Ability to interpret grade and comprehend surveying principles
  • Competence in performing elevation shots and reading technical schematics
  • Required certifications: CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol screening
  • Reliable transportation and proficiency in English

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
