Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching network solutions, products, and standards to support data center procurement and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT personnel and external partners to formulate project strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Deliver KPI reports, project updates, and performance evaluations to upper management.
  • Serve as the escalation point for the IT team, ensuring prompt resolution of outstanding issues in line with the organization’s incident management protocols.
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and cybersecurity measures, while supporting system administrators as needed.
  • Maintain and support Data Center and Cloud IP Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/IPsec), ensuring network security through segmentation and access control lists (ACLs).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for corporate IT, prioritizing remediation for compliance standards.
  • Manage Active Directory structures, user permissions, and network services.
  • Provide Tier II/III IT support for routine operational tasks.
  • Oversee incident and change management processes.
  • Build and sustain relationships with external vendors and advisors.
  • Manage inventory for all hardware, software, and licensing related to IT operations.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard assets.
  • Coordinate server updates and maintenance to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Network Administrator, with hands-on expertise in network devices, preferably Fortinet and Cisco technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to efficiently diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining network security measures against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and the ability to design and troubleshoot wireless networks.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and industry best practices to keep the network infrastructure current and efficient.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts is a plus.
