The role of the Store Operations Leader involves overseeing the daily functions of a busy automotive service center. This position is essential for ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role is necessary.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced motor vehicle repair shop, requiring the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff management and allocate duties effectively.
  • Analyze market research and trends to assess consumer demand and sales potential.
  • Identify and procure merchandise and services for resale.
  • Establish pricing and credit policies.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance business visibility.
  • Plan budgets and monitor financial performance, including revenues and expenses.
  • Determine staffing needs and manage recruitment processes.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Supervise payroll and administrative tasks.
  • Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in using a point of sale system, electronic mail, spreadsheets, and MS Outlook is required.

Safety and Security

A basic security clearance is necessary for this position.

Working Conditions

This role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
