About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at J F S Contractors Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Concrete Finishing: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Support Services: Assist the medical examiner in charge as needed.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including construction sites.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, ability to handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
