We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza (Banff). As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including the preparation and cooking areas, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all inventory is properly stored and rotated.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that all customer requests are met promptly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Gratuities: Eligible for gratuities.
- Permanent Employment: Permanent employment opportunity.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
