Job Summary

As a Customer Service Desk Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Represent company values and policies to the public, ensuring a positive brand image and customer experience.
  • Maintain security and control of the sales floor, ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Process refunds, exchanges, and returns, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist customers with information and directions, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain sales tax exempt records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
