Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Service Associate to join our team at RONA. As a key member of our visual merchandising team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are visually appealing and well-organized, providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Merchandising: Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals, and stock levels.
  • Product Presentation: Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that available inventory above the bay is shelved, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward when needed.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a member of the in-store team if they need specific advice.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles.
Requirements
  • Working Knowledge: Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
  • Task Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Basic Arithmetic: Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Availability: Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.
