About the Role

The Family Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Reunification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to families and children.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote family reunification and stability.
  • Provide guidance and support to parents in developing their parenting skills and capacity.
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of family interactions and progress.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Work with relevant experience.
  • Certificate in Human Services Sector with extensive experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
