Mechanical Maintenance Millwright - Key Responsibilities

This role is focused on ensuring the smooth operation of our Milton facility. You will work a continental rotating shift schedule, with 12-hour shifts alternating between day and night every week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to optimize production efficiency
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements on machinery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members
Requirements:
  • Hold an Ontario Millwright Licence 433A
  • Minimum Grade 12 education with mechanical or technical post-secondary training
  • At least 5 years of heavy industrial experience or completed a Canadian Apprenticeship program
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and safety protocols
  • Capable of making informed decisions and working with minimal supervision
  • Team player willing to work overtime when needed
  • Own a set of quality tools
