We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Vision Centre team as a Vision Care Associate. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with the operation of the Vision Centre, and support our Opticians in delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our Vision Centre.
- Assist with the booking of eye appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Help maintain the standards of the Vision Centre, including filing, cleaning, displays, and organization.
- Support customers with their Vision Centre requests, including choosing frames, accessories, and repairs.
- Aid in communication between vision parties, including Opticians, customers, and doctors.
- Process advanced POS transactions, including interaction with benefits systems and cash handling.
- Maintain layaway and ensure accurate records.
- Perform technical measuring of eyewear.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Excellent customer service skills and a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and processing transactions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or retail environment.
- Knowledge of optical products and services.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
