Job Opportunity: Substitute Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at the Good Spirit School Division No. 204. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality educational programs to students in the absence of regular teachers
  • Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure continuity of instruction
Requirements:
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
  • Experience with and understanding of student well-being, building and fostering relationships, curriculum, instruction, and assessment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset
  • Indigenous reconciliation and technology integration
