About the Role

Inniskillin Wines, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Winery Associate. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our visitors, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for each guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with wine tastings and purchases, providing expert knowledge and recommendations
  • Conduct engaging and informative tours of the winery, including structured tastings for tour groups
  • Operate a point-of-sale system and perform opening and closing duties
  • Assist with special events and functions
  • Provide exceptional service in both formal and informal settings
  • Represent the winery at off-site events and functions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Smart Serve Certification
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work well in a team-focused environment
  • Motivation to exceed sales targets
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented
  • Retail experience is a must-have
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous serving experience would be an asset
  • Fluency in French, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese would be considered an asset
