About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst II, Operations and Planning, to join our growing team at Intact Financial Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain requirements from business units through interviews and work sessions.
  • Analyze information from various sources, detail high-level information, and provide users with recommendations to their problems.
  • Document requirements obtained from the business community using defined templates.
  • Act as an intermediary between IT, users, and managers from different hierarchical levels.
  • Ensure the link between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Facilitate working sessions with experts from different fields.
  • Responsible for improving productivity and reducing risks and high costs through effective analysis.
  • Identify the need for change to assess and communicate its impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Highly developed analytical skills facilitating problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively.
  • Have initiative and be autonomous.
  • Skills for time and priority management.
  • Ability to manage multiple files at the same time.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of the Agile Methodology (asset).
  • Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset).
  • No Canadian work experience required, however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
