Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our Quick Service team at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our fans and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and provide coaching, training, and motivation to the Quick Service team to ensure outstanding service and quality.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to AGCO and MLSE policies and regulations.
- Support QS Supervisors in providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service of all food and beverage.
- Work independently to resolve operational issues and ensure proper follow-up with the Management Team.
- Participate in administrative tasks, including opening/closing duties, food safety checklists, and performance reviews.
- Oversee the production of vending product and food production prior to events.
- Hold staff accountable and assist in the corrective action process.
- Supervise and manage speed of service and product quality to meet service expectations.
- Assist in the training and development of staff and Supervisors.
Requirements
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 12 event days per month.
- Smart Serve certification required; Food Safety certification an asset.
- Ability to effectively connect with fans and all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and multi-task.
- Previous experience in a unionized work environment is helpful.
