Training and Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Facilitator to join our team at CO_1400 Stuart Olson Industrial Inc. as a key member of our Learning and Development department.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and develop learning plans that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive a culture of learning and development, assessing learning needs and engaging district stakeholders in learning solution delivery.
- Guide individuals to acquire relevant skills, education, experience, and relationships that maximize their personal and professional potential.
- Provide data and insights to inform decisions that maximize learning investment.
- Lead and facilitate interactive learning sessions, workshops, and learning programs, including training subject matter experts to facilitate learning programs.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Foster an inclusive and participatory learning environment that encourages active engagement.
- Effectively communicate course content and learning objectives.
- Provide clear explanations, examples, and demonstrations to enhance understanding.
- Adapt content delivery based on feedback and assessment.
- Leverage technology tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience and reporting.
- Implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate learner progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to individuals and groups, highlighting areas for improvement and acknowledging achievements.
- Monitor and adjust the learning approach based on assessment outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships and rapport that foster a culture of learning and drive greater alignment across our organizational network.
- Liaise with the Learning and Development team to ensure the effectiveness of learning programs and assess anticipated learning needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with participants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with learning methodologies and industry trends.
- Seek feedback from participants and colleagues to enhance personal facilitation skills.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with a focus on talent development.
- Proven experience as a facilitator, trainer, or teacher in a professional setting.
- A team player who enjoys building collaborative partnerships to achieve results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint an asset.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
- Open to travel to various locations across the country.
