About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cheryl's Country Kitchen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
    • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing a high level of service and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment.
