  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate data to inform our operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: On-site customer service in a restaurant environment.
  • Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredient and supplies required, hire food service staff, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers' complaints or concerns, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for chef, establish work schedules.
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 people.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, walking, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 35 hours per week, English language.
