About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Specialist to join our team at LHR Américas. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing risk exposures, designing strategies, and procuring insurance to protect assets and mitigate liabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure to potential losses.
  • Analyze and critique risk allocation, indemnity, insurance, and other related contract provisions.
  • Negotiate and implement insurance and reinsurance placement structures, including captive or alternative finance and transfer mechanisms.
  • Develop and advise on the implementation of risk and insurance policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization.
  • Significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise obtained from industry, international brokerage, risk management, or insurance company background.
What We Offer
  • Competitive monthly base salary.
  • Monthly over base of 25% of monthly base salary.
  • Benefits supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
