About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Insurance Advisor to join our team at Westland Insurance Ltd. in Carstairs, AB. As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and educate clients on insurance products and services
  • Take ownership of client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage complex insurance cases and provide recommendations based on knowledge and underwriting principles
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to help them grow their insurance industry knowledge and experience
  • Uncover clients' business challenges and act as a client advocate to identify their needs and provide solutions
Requirements
  • Laser-focused with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build authentic client relationships
  • Master time manager with the ability to prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Insurance broker license Level 2 and working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided)
  • 2-5 years of insurance experience
