About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve drinks to guests, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, taking orders and responding to their needs.
  • Assist in the planning and presentation of the bar menu, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
  • Check identification of guests when necessary, to ensure compliance with age requirements for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
  • Arrange the bar area to create attractive displays and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations and suggestions to enhance their experience.
  • Sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling, promoting our hotel's services and products.
  • Maintain liquor inventory and consumption, ensuring accurate records and minimizing waste.
  • Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed, replenishing supplies to maintain a high level of service.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations, ensuring our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Smart Serve Certification, with a strong understanding of responsible serving practices.
  • Food Handling Certification is an asset, demonstrating a commitment to food safety and quality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Authorization to work in Canada, with a valid work permit or visa.
