About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design of various building projects, including HVAC and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design of building projects, including HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Conduct field reviews of mechanical and plumbing installations to ensure quality and compliance
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical building services engineering design
  • Established experience in the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, and commissioning
  • Strong understanding of relevant mechanical engineering codes and standards
  • Familiarity with industry software, including HAP, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Ability to independently complete engineering analysis and design of mechanical systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders

  • Strong relationships with local clients and industry partners
  • Proven business development experience and work-winning track record
  • Ability to contribute to the holistic leadership of our Vancouver office
