About the Role

VST Corporation is seeking a skilled Siding Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Siding Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing siding on various construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Measurement: Measure and mark guidelines for siding installations, ensuring accurate and efficient installation procedures.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks with necessary equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide professionalism in customer service, ensuring satisfaction with installation services.
  • Documentation: Document and prepare invoices and work orders, maintaining accurate records of installation activities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers, ensuring effective teamwork and efficient project completion.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools, including erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate installation procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in various locations, including construction and renovation sites.
  • Work Setting: Installation, repair, and renovation projects.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, accuracy, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
