About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals, groups, and communities achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-informed services, focusing on occupational performance and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive services, including triage, screening, consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Collaborate with clients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation plans
  • Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich support, and engage in quality improvement
  • Contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring and supervising students

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
