About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Environment Analyst to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Test Environment Management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Client Servicing Technology team's QA group.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading incident, change, and problem management in compliance with established controls and standards. You will apply technical knowledge in the management of technical documentation, incident resolution, change and management for all CST applications and non-prod environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • QA Infrastructure Management: Perform and coordinate infrastructure updates and configuration management practices, conduct incident management processes in the event of environment incidents, document the QA environment infrastructure and environments and manage the booking of those environments.
  • Systems Implementation: Participate in the technical design and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and oversee the QA environment operational activities.
  • Planning and Coordination: Effectively interact with internal stakeholders, end-users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications or troubleshoot QA environment issues.
  • Leadership Skills: Act as an independent infrastructure contributor and be able to troubleshoot and interface with various technical and business teams to ensure smooth operation/capacity management/incident management of QA test environments and recovery when required.
Requirements
  • Experience in: Managing and configuring infrastructure, incident management, infrastructure administration, infrastructure management (IM), infrastructure planning, problem management, technical problem-solving.
  • Tools and Technologies: Parasoft SOA Test, Jira, HP-ALM, Confluence, Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Cloud Knowledge: Azure and AWS cloud knowledge (nice-to-have).
  • Certifications: ISTQB, ITIL (nice-to-have).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
