About the Role

The Insurance Advisor III - Sales and Service Professional is a critical member of the Salimi Insurance & Investments Inc./ Co-operators team, playing a key role in the support and development of the agency operation. This position provides inbound sales and service for life and wealth products, utilizing a broad knowledge of personal lines (auto, home) and specialty lines (farm and commercial) insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inbound sales and service for life and wealth products, focusing on profitable growth and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex insurance information to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct front-line risk assessments and selections, following underwriting guidelines and completing inspections and re-inspections as needed.
  • Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to the overall agency sales and growth goals.
  • Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Proactively complete client reviews on auto, home, farm, and/or commercial portfolios.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience, including sales experience.
  • General Insurance license and Life license required.
  • Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education to obtain and maintain all licenses.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills is an asset.

Work Environment
