We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic images and providing expert radiology services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret diagnostic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
- Provide expert radiology services to patients, including emergency and routine imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License.
- Provisional.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Mandatory.
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
- Eligible.
- Competitive compensation package.
- 13 weeks of vacation leave.
- May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Retention Premium: 11.48%.
- Retention Flat Fee: $17,790.
- Relocation Funding Available: $9,000 if moving within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 from outside Canada.
- Recruitment Incentive: $15,000, prorated for physicians working less than full time.
