About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative services, evaluating department operations, and managing daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Services Coordination: Co-ordinate administrative services, including filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  2. Department Evaluation: Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  3. Operations Management: Manage the operations of a department providing a single administrative service, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily activities.
  4. Budget Administration: Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  5. Reporting and Briefing: Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
  6. Knowledge Management: Manage knowledge and maintain inventory.
  7. Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, including delivery drivers.
  8. Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews and authorize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  9. Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  10. Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  11. Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's degree.
  2. Experience: 5 years or more in a related field.
  3. Language: English.
  4. Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, information technology, Quick Books, information management system, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Windows, Google Drive, and Shopify.
  5. Industrial Processes and Products Experience: Quality assurance and control.
  6. Area of Work Experience: Quality assurance or control, communications and public relations, business administration/management.
  7. Area of Specialization: Project management, operations management, brand management.
  8. Security and Safety: Valid driver's license required.
  9. Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication, organized, analytical.
