Cheam Taxi Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Taxi Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and perform minor repairs to our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist passengers, provide information about destinations, and ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Dispatch and Operations: Operate our dispatch systems and two-way radios to coordinate pickups and drop-offs, and ensure timely arrivals.
- Financial Transactions: Collect fares and record transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Special Requests: Assist passengers with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility or assisting with luggage.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers by following company policies and procedures.
- Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E).
- Physical Abilities: Possess 20/20 vision, have good hand-eye coordination, and be able to distinguish between colors.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, be client-focused, and have a strong sense of reliability and organization.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a typical workweek of 40-50 hours. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
