Job Title:

Marine Engineering Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified faculty member to assist with the development and delivery of our Marine Engineering Technology program. The successful applicant will provide instruction in the Diploma of Marine Engineering Technology and/or other Transport Canada Certification programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver course materials and curriculum as part of the ongoing program review process
  • Participate in the program review process with other instructors
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students
  • Work with industry partners to ensure the programs continue to meet their needs
  • Advise students on work placement opportunities and career options
  • Participate in the development of curriculum for current and new courses
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in the marine transportation industry
  • Transport Canada Certificate of Competency at the First-Class Engineer level
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant area to maritime studies
