Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Food and Beverage Company of Kanata Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Restock supplies, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Support for Social and Labour Market Integration: Facilitate access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Recruitment of Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
Support for Youths:
  • On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Relationships with Indigenous Communities: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
