Job Title: Instructor, Practical Nursing

Assiniboine Community College is seeking a qualified Instructor, Practical Nursing to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced nursing professional to teach and mentor students in our Practical Nursing program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and a commitment to creating exceptional learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver curriculum for Practical Nursing courses, including lectures, labs, and clinical experiences.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including consultation hours and individualized instruction.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and program administrators.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant post-secondary nursing education and significant industry experience in acute care.
  • Teaching experience in an adult environment, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and program administrators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Registration with a relevant nursing regulatory body and good standing.
