Sackville is in search of a dedicated professional to become part of the Technology Services Division within the Health Application Services unit as a Senior Business Analyst.
The ideal candidate is client-focused and committed to providing outstanding service. Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Manager of Health Applications. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with the user community to collect business requirements and perform workflow analysis, converting them into functional advantages that will aid in the design and successful deployment of applications throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include collaborating with both technical and business teams to assess business needs, propose, and develop effective solutions.
The Senior Business Analyst will assist the team in the creation, review, and revision of deliverables, which include business process diagrams, standard operating procedures, functional requirements, and status reports.
Maintaining robust connections and collaboration with project managers and other key stakeholders, such as Business Relationship Management, project teams, and various other units within Sackville, is essential.
Participation in the planning, development, and execution of systems, upgrades, and enhancements is a critical aspect of this role. Compliance: Ensuring that systems are configured in accordance with architectural standards and guidelines is required.
The Senior Business Analyst will also serve as a resource for team members, assisting with daily tasks and advancing initiatives.
Qualifications: A post-secondary education of four (4) years in Computer Science, Business, Health Sciences, or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, is required. Alternatively, a post-secondary education of two (2) years in Computer Science, Business, Health Sciences, or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, may be considered.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be taken into account, and the required years of experience may be adjusted based on the applicant pool.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory. Candidates should clearly indicate their language capabilities in their application.
Asset Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates with training or experience in the following areas:
- Familiarity with troubleshooting principles and issue resolution techniques.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, including skills in coaching, facilitating, team-building, and/or negotiation.
- Business Analyst Certifications such as ECBA, PMI-PBA, CCBA, BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice, CBAP, and/or Scrum Master.
Candidates may be required to demonstrate one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be considered further.
