As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective use of technology to maximize student learning and provide exceptional technology service management for the district.
Key Responsibilities- Technology Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the district's vision and mission.
- Technology Service Management: Provide exceptional technology service management for the district, including support for students, teachers, and staff.
- Human Resources Management: Lead and manage the Information Technology team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Fiscal and Asset Management: Oversee the fiscal and asset management for Information Technology in the district, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent of education and work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a public sector or large complex organization.
- Skills: Considerable experience and success with integrating new technologies and methodologies into a large organization.
The School District #8 (Kootenay Lake) offers a competitive salary range of $89,376 - $111,721, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and pension. We are an equity hiring employer and welcome applications from Indigenous applicants.
