About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PDC Supervisor to join our team at Mobis Parts Canada Corporation. As a key member of our distribution operations team, you will be responsible for supervising the operational responsibilities of the PDC, managing staff, and making recommendations on improvements to workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the operations of the PDC shipping/receiving tasks efficiently and ensure all operational deadlines are met daily
  • Ensure compliance with OHSA & JHSC rules & regulations throughout all PDC operations
  • Schedule staff, daily and long-term, to coordinate with current and expected workflow demands
  • Train, coach, develop, mentor, and discipline PDC staff as required
  • Monitor and delegate workflow to ensure deadlines are met
  • Administer and improve daily/weekly/monthly workflow reports
  • Administer and improve employee productivity reports
  • Create open dialogue with staff and keep the team informed of corporate direction and developments
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • Maintain both inventory and location accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the PDC (3R, 5S)
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position, preferably in a distribution environment
  • Degree or diploma in logistics/supply chain or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instruction
  • Ability to coach and manage others
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented and customer service-focused
  • Valid MHE license: Reach Truck, Counter Balance, and Order Picker
  • Valid TDG certificate
