Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Scootin Kootenay Tours. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our tourism operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and coordinate the work of staff members, assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote our tourism services and products.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports, and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that the business is operating within budget.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Analyze business needs and determine the required staffing levels to ensure that our tourism operations are running smoothly.
- Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate for this position.
- Transportation: Own transportation required.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Permanent Employment: Full-time position with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
