Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dry End Operator to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining the equipment/machinery to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the production team to ensure smooth operation and scheduling
  • Program the computer for order sequence and production targets
  • Monitor and maintain the equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Perform quality checks before and during production runs
  • Fill out production sheets accurately and maintain records
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks as required
  • Follow all ISO procedures and safety protocols
  • Report any problems or issues to the supervisor

Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow equipment-specific physical lockout/tagout procedures
  • Complete daily operator checklists for mobile equipment
  • Report any hazards or problems to the supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10 education
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience an asset
  • Machine operation skills
  • Organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
  • Team player and self-starter
