BC Place Stadium is in search of a skilled Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations on a contractual basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the finance department, performing financial assessments, and offering strategic insights to enhance the venue's performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the finance department's daily activities, including accounts receivable, collections, compliance, and financial reporting
  • Facilitate financial settlements for major event transactions involving international clientele
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial documentation
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations and optimize processes
  • Manage annual audit processes and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders
  • Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making
  • Engage in forecasting and budgeting initiatives
  • Coordinate month-end financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Adapt to changing financial processes and support new initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Preferred CPA designation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in event-driven settings
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and GAAP
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in the event management, entertainment, or hospitality sectors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Compensation: $77,488 - $96,860
