Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Underwater Operations Specialist to join our team at Diveco Marine (2007) Ltd. This position involves a variety of tasks related to underwater inspection and maintenance.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment
  • Conditions: The role involves working in dangerous, wet, and outdoor environments, including underwater settings.
  • Location: Remote and rural areas, with a willingness to relocate as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct underwater inspections, searches, salvage operations, repairs, and photography.
  • Provide emergency response services when required.
  • Perform scuba diving to assess sea farm operations.
Required Certifications
  • Commercial diver's license
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with gauges, power tools, precision measuring instruments, underwater recording and welding equipment, and hand tools.
Specialization Areas
  • Underwater photography
  • Underwater surveying
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance is required.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to distinguish colors and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Must possess good hand-eye coordination and be able to work under physically demanding conditions.
