Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Early Childhood Development department, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children from birth to school age with speech, communication, and related disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement client-centered care plans
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of early intervention programs and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university program
  • Registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and eligibility for membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada
  • One year of experience working with clients in an Early Childhood Intervention setting, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Valid BC Driver's license where required
