We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Early Childhood Development department, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children from birth to school age with speech, communication, and related disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement educational programs for clients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university program
- Registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and eligibility for membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada
- One year of experience in working with clients in an Early Childhood Intervention setting or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Valid BC Driver's license where required
