Job Title: Energy Storage Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Project Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Utility Scale Energy Storage team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing multiple energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and design energy storage projects from conception to execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products
  • Perform technical due diligence and propose storage & hybrid solutions to support customers' evolving needs
  • Support projects from conception through execution, working closely with project managers
  • Influence project teams in the engineering aspects of technical work
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of technologies in energy storage, including varying battery chemistries, power conversion units, and DC/DC converters
  • Experience in substation or utility scale energy storage design and/or project management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical and non-technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field from an ABET accredited program
  • ~7+ years of proven engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with power electronics
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to maximize performance and reliability of technically complex systems
